FAQ

Personalized Nutrition Support for Your Wellness Journey

Find clear and concise answers to your nutrition questions to support your health goals with ease.

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not take insurance at this moment. The current state of insurance coverage for nutrition and dietetics services is strictly limiting in allowed time and effort I can give you. To ensure the highest quality of care and appropriate time, I charge directly for the time I spend with you. Even so, we feel our rates are priced fairly.

Do you make meal plans?

Sometimes. Each client’s care is unique and upon consultation we will determine together if a meal plan is an appropriate tool for you. I do not make meal plans on demand.

What is a Registered Dietitian? Are you also a nutritionist?

A Registered Dietitian is a medical professional who has a graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics, has passed a registration exam managed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the title is protected by law in practically every state. A “nutritionist” can be anyone, as there is no legal requirement to use the term. Many people who call themselves “nutritionists” are not necessarily qualified or acting in your best interest.

Is virtual nutrition counseling available?

Absolutely, I offer convenient online sessions to support your food journey from anywhere and at flexible times.
